I’m Jay and I am the mind behind Solis Atlantic Integrations. Since I was a child, I have always been interested in the advancement of automated technology. I remember 2011, when I was in high school, I was in awe of my father’s 4th Generation iPhone because it was the first commercial phone with a virtual Artificial Intelligence assistant. That’s right, “Siri” introduced me to the world of AI, and now my goal is to take you even further.

Since I was 18, I’ve worked in many different fields ranging from retail to federal consultation and I have found that the easiest way to interact with customers or clients is through patience, understanding, and politeness. For something so simple, it takes you a very long way. Another aspect of my career where I’ve exercised these traits was as a U.S. Soldier. I’ve found that even in harsh environments, the best way to be successful is by combining professionalism with how you interact with people. Why I do it

AI is a powerful tool, but it shouldn’t be something that we’re afraid of. IBM has introduced an ethical and safe way of using AI to your advantage. However, I understand the perspective that AI can be used as a dangerous tool. Which is a good reason you may be worried about how it is used, especially when it is in such an early stage of development. But where there is bad, there is also good. This technology can change the world by creating solutions that support our advancements. Agriculture could be preserved and cities can be developed in ways that prolong our earth’s life, rather than destroy it. AI can be used to solve equations in a matter of minutes that take us hours. We can become more efficient, cost effective, and impactful. Do I believe that it is the answer to all of our problems? No. But like the wheel, the printing press, the car, the computer, and the internet, it is a tool that will help our society advance. I want to be a part of this new journey of unlimited potential.
